Modern Risk board game layout ?!?!?!

Anybody know what it would look like aside from China pieces all over the U.S.A and Canada ?

So basically if it were World War 2 and I was looking down at a flat board of the earth and its countries (but in today's time) . In what country would the U.S have there flags standing ? What would the layout of the Risk board look as of today?

Not sure how else to put it .
