Numerology. It isn't completely moronic and here's why. Full disclosure, I am not into Numerology.

Numerology studies the patterns of numbers.

Maybe not. If the sun rises at a certain time, it is a pretty good bet that 24 hours later, the same thing is happening again.

Similarly, other patterns happen based on numerical rhythms.

No one thinks the numbers governing musical harmony should be regarded as pseudo science.

Astronomy uses math successfully to predict many events and locations of celestial bodies.

Because I do not understand something does not mean it has neither value or reality. We see many patterns in our life but understanding them is another matter.
