Updates can be large, 10gb or so. Make sure you have enough RAM and hard drive space or it becomes a real pain, can't even update some of these newer low-end laptops. Most RAM is easy to update, a few clips and pop the new one in. A bit more expensive nowadays though, and have to verify it matches exactly (DDR3, DDR4, 1Rx8, 1Rx16...). |

Moved everything else to Linux, but I still use a couple of video editing programs that need 7. More deplorable all the time. |
