I believe you because right now I am taking care of my husband who also tested positive for Covid.
He was hardly taken to the hosp if not for his very high sugar reading and pneumonia symptoms.

Do you know what the paramedics said?

With Covid, you wait it out at home for there is no cure. We'll NOT bring you unless you are dying.
Then the Dr in the hosp said to bring him in, that's why he got a small spot in the ER.

He's also dx with double lung pneumonia and rendered insulin shot for his fluctuating sugar level.
He is on antibiotics and was only discharged due to the nasty snowstorm fear that will complicate all care for the hosp was overloaded with sick people.

This is a reality check and shocking. It is a working miracle why he is still here with us. We are unvaxed.

Sorry you're having so much trouble kicking it. I had it last week for about 4 days. 100.4 fever, headache, fatigue, not much congestion, and no sore throat. Took 36 mg of Ivermectin for 4 days and it pretty much knocked it out. Praying that they get your lungs cleared up and your O2 back to normal.

Actually, with COVID this is in particularly true. Multiple studies indicate that those who were asymptomatic or had little response actually did not build proper or sufficient immunity against future strains. They’ve also found that they are far more likely to get reinfected and have a severe illness the second time around.

You want to have a decent reaction. Fevers are our friends. They are indicating that the immune system is functioning properly. There’s a fine line here..you want a reaction, but remember mild to moderate illness means having fever, congestion, mild cough, headache etc., it doesn’t mean having no symptoms.

Contrarily, some peoples immune system over reacts and that’s not good either. You want to be somewhere in the middle. You shouldn’t be so untouched that you’re out jogging, but you also shouldn’t be so affected that you’re hospitalized with low O2 sats. Somewhere in between those two is a good long lasting immune response.

So sorry that you are so sick. Hope you get better soon. Don't pay any attention to those who think they know everything. You are doing what is best for you.

My God...please tell me you are not submitting your test results. If so, you are part of the problem. They get to claim all your positive tests as MULTIPLE CASES WHICH IT'S JUST YOU. Even if your not, for heaven's sake, STOP TESTING. These tests are set up for false positives. You've got a bad flu. Buckle up and get over it.

Just wondering how many end up in hospital for low oxygen readings?

I had omi last weekend and had a mild fever and quite fatigued but had neither a thermometer or oxygen reader handy so didn’t know my temperature or Oxygen reading and think I was better off for not knowing.

Needed about three days of rest and fluids little appetite and took some paste and Benadryl and milk and recovered just fine.

Have residual cough now with pflegm but that’s normal for me after most colds or flu.
