BREAKING: CBS News: American Airlines flight to London turns back to Miami after passenger takes off mask

Every person on that flight has to have a negative COVID test to get into the UK. This is just asinine.

Masks in general are the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

Yup. People take off their masks to eat and drink on the plane. Seems like in flight they can just remove it. In restaurants as soon as people sit down the masks come off. This is like a flying restaurant. The airlines should be sued. I can’t y how insane everything is. And yeah they all had a negative test.

What you're not saying though is that it's an ALCOHOL related incident.

They were drunk, and it was an international flight. They weren't just refusing to wear the masks, they were drunk and belligerent. The Pilot was probably worried that Man in particular would become worse as the flight continued.

They didn't turn back just because someone refused to wear a mask. They were intoxicated.

They need to be more careful about intoxicated passengers boarding planes in the first place.

MASK MANDATES ARE NOT THE LAW, FOOL, ANY MORE THAN VACCINE MANDATES. One mask???? ONE???? For fucks sake, just ground the entire fleet.

The airline had to pay for the passengers' hotel in Miami because the flight was cancelled and re-scheduled for the next day.

The woman who refused to wear a mask was not arrested, however, she was put on American’s internal no-fly list pending further investigation.

The FAA will investigate the case. It could impose a fine of up to $37,000.

I'm sorry but this is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD and boy did it piss me off.. An HOUR INTO THE FLIGHT, the pilot turns around?? For THIS?? People have lost their damn minds. I found it very interesting that this person's vaccination status was never mentioned or questioned in the article I read...because WHY?? Because, as the airline industry knows, it DOESN'T MATTER, THAT'S WHY. The vax is useless EXCEPT as a poison and the mask is just mask. Clearly, this wasn't about safety. They turned around to prove a brain-washed point to the fearful pussified brain-washed masses THAT CONTROLLING AIRLINE TYRANTS WILL CONTINUE TO BE JUST THAT because they can. And what about the rest of the passengers (who were masked up and likely 90% vaxxed)? Were they given no choice by a tyrannical American Airlines pilot and flight crew OR were they trembling in their seats, perfectly okay with turning around an hour in??? NEITHER IS ACCEPTABLE.
