Form of the day folks is W-4.

That's the form you fill out when starting a new job. The form never goes to the IRS, it stays in a filing cabinet at your employer's place of business.

Most fools take zero exemptions as a savings plan. They are giving the federal government an ongoing interest free loan throughout the year.

Last year (remember anyone?), millions of tax refunds were delayed because the IRS (cough, cough) forgot to order enough ink for the printer to cut checks.

Best thing to do now is submit a new W-4, claiming enough exemptions to call it even, and tell the IRS to F'k themselves.

Next best thing is to go back to paper and clog up the IRS so they have less resources to ruin lives.

Time to resist and refuse.
