The general topic of body acidity is discussed since many year already in general nutrition recommendations to try to move to a more alkaline-related diet (high PH number). But here it is now directly brought up in the context of virus infections. The author also suggests a simple temporary mitigation in the conclusion section, which I won't cite here directly as everyone trying medical experiments on themselves need to be careful. Abstract: The factors contributing to increased morbidity and mortality in SARS-CoV-2 infection are diverse, and include diabetes, obesity, [...]. Although there is no obvious connection between these, they do have one common denominator—they all have a tendency towards lower urine pH, which may indicate a lower-than-normal tissue pH.
