Its troubling that most of us here at GLP thought 5G had already been rolled out

Major cellphone providers have been advertising new cellphones like they would have a 5g connection, I would say going back to 2019.

I remember thinking a few times that if the 5G network had been activated, that it was the most overhyped cellular evolution ever. I haven't noticed a change in my phones internet speeds either.
