I work at a psychiatric hospital where we can’t confine/isolate patients so they have the freedom to move around the unit and we can’t force them to wear masks. Most just take them off and cough/sneeze anywhere they see fit. Also, many patients are vaccinated since they’ve been in the system a long time and part of hospital protocol is to strongly encourage it. Anyway, we had a huge outbreak of covid on our unit, 80% of the patient population tested positive, some asymptomatic and some with a range of mild to moderate symptoms. 10 staff members tested positive, ALL vaccinated. 100% and some boosted. We have several staff that received exemptions and aren’t vaccinated. They didn’t get it. ALSO note, I had a full range of symptoms including loss of taste and smell. My symptoms were moderate. I’d compare it to a bad cold. According to my symptoms, I don’t think it was Omicron. I think it was Delta. They really are blatantly lying to us. Pandemic of the vaccinated. I know, NOT baffled. |

They’re saying you don’t typically lose taste and smell with omicron and my symptoms were more than a weak cold. |
