Anonymous Coward User ID: 846269 United States 01/17/2022 12:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | snub nose 38 isnt very much fun to shoot due to the harsh recoil. my wife hates shooting mine. i will take a g19. Quoting: ifSHTF train her better.. My 116 lb, 5 foot 3 inch bride has no issues going through 100 of my reloads in a training session. and those are stiff 158 loads out of a 442. That 38 has three times the power of the 9mm in every round.. why would you want weak?.. maybe a rubber band gun is more your thing. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81512813 Only a blinded Glock mega fanboy would think carrying a gun with no real safety in an ankle holster is a good idea. That pos weighs about 30 ounces fully loaded. Real practical. Why? its in a holster what could happen? Go ahead and carry on one your ankle then. Better wear bell bottoms while you’re at it. Your inexperience is clear. Thats some funny shit bro. You didnt answer the question. Have you ever been in a firefight? Did you ever go to Ranger school? Were you infantry with 3 deployments? STFU then. Neither were you.. you wouldnt say such dumb shit if you were, bell bottom boy. |

Of course we can and will ALWAYS point out a "bigger caliber" or a "better caliber". Here's some news. There is ALWAYS a bigger bullet out there. "Be Careful When You Follow The Masses... (OP) User ID: 81885412 United States 01/17/2022 01:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No doubt they pack a punch. The problem is capacity, ruger sp only hold 5 rounds and so small smith and wessons. The new kimber k6s offers 6 rounds at a high price. Seven round revolvers are big and hard to carry. Therefore revolvers are thing of the past when you compared with a subcompact pistol like a Glock 26 with the ability to carry from 10 round magazine up to 33 round magazines. When you see hordes of 30 plus smash and grab hoodlums you have to think that 5 rounds won’t be enough to defend yourself and family. I am talking about EVERYDAY CONCEALED carry. Think convenience store, pumping gas, getting groceries, etc. If we get to a point I need to carry a 30 round firearm EVERYDAY... it won't be CONCEALED as It will be a long gun... and we have more serious problems. Kinda cool to see some older round still doing some interesting things. With that said in modern +p rated snubbies no reason NOT to carry the impressive rounds from Winchester, federal, and Hornady. Depening on preference etc. Last Edited by TrufSerumX on 01/17/2022 05:22 PM "Be Careful When You Follow The Masses... Sometimes the 'M' Is Silent." - TrufSerumX |

Quoting: OGEBY GLOCK 34,17, or 19 on my hip, IWB or OWB, again depends on what I am doing. GLOCK 26 on my ankle... I can run 17 round mags and 33 round mags in ALL of them. I stick with GEN 3s, and most of the parts are interchangeable. I am a GLOCK Armorer and GLOCK Instructor. Been around them for almost 30 years. Only a blinded Glock mega fanboy would think carrying a gun with no real safety in an ankle holster is a good idea. That pos weighs about 30 ounces fully loaded. Real practical. I do it ALL the time using the Alien Gear Ankle Holster with one in the tube. I don't wear bell bottoms, but I am able to easily conceal the GLOCK 26 on my right ankle and a FULL IFAK on my left ankle wearing loose fitting jeans, NOT BELL BOTTOMS, and no one EVER knows. Hiked 2-3 miles with it on my ankle as well. I am NOT a pussy, the 26 is my back up. I will NEVER carry anything smaller than my GLOCK 19 as a primary. I have run numerous REAL courses with GLOCK 19s-34s. Me running my 34. Failure drill, with one shot per instruction of instructor. If this is what they are teaching, I HOPE if ever I have to defend myself, my target is a graduate from your class.. the schools teach a lot of low probability stuff. their goal is income first, reality second. 50% of the time the presence of a gun ends conflict. |

Unless you are wearing hearing protection, I wouldn't advise to fire a 357 round as your ears will be ringing and fucked up for at least an hour. A 38 will achieve your desired results without the brutal blast of a 357. Communism is for LOSERS Communism is SLAVERY Fuck Joe Biden |

The latter isn't true. It takes adjustment to the revolver and double action trigger, but once you practice one can get fairly accurate out to 10 yards. Some snubbie pro's much farther. BULLSHIT! |

Im mostly concerned about wildlife like bears, boars and cougars. THATS WHY I MEANTED THE 10MM. I travel to Idaho, utah, arizona all the time. End of the day, whatever your comfortBle with, it better thN nothing. Yeah, a double action wheel gun is great for people that have time to practice all the time. |
