BS! It takes practice. I had a S&W Centennial which is a J-frame and hammerless. I got so that I could get 3 inch groups at 21 feet shooting very fast. And if you carry a couple speed loaders, reloading is almost as fast as changing a magazine. "Everybody lies." |

I carry my Charter Arms Bodyguard 38 snubby every day, btw. The 2 main advantages to a semi-auto are if you get into a wrestling match and pull your gun, you don’t have to worry about them grabbing it and it not going off. And 2, if you have a misfire, all you do is pull the trigger again. No feed jams. Wheel guns are real guns |

His wife had carried it in her purse but said it kicked like the dickens and she didn’t like it. It’s also fun shooting snakes with .38 rat shot loads. |

The only way you will face multiple attackers is if you're stupid enough to to walk into a BLM protest. It's nearly always a lone attacker. Besides, having 5-6 shots makes 3-4 attackers think twice. Today's premium .38 Spl ammo (Hornady) greatly enhanced the defense capability of a 120-year-old pistol cartridge. |

Quoting: OGEBY GLOCK 34,17, or 19 on my hip, IWB or OWB, again depends on what I am doing. GLOCK 26 on my ankle... I can run 17 round mags and 33 round mags in ALL of them. I stick with GEN 3s, and most of the parts are interchangeable. I am a GLOCK Armorer and GLOCK Instructor. Been around them for almost 30 years. Only a blinded Glock mega fanboy would think carrying a gun with no real safety in an ankle holster is a good idea. That pos weighs about 30 ounces fully loaded. Real practical. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81541563 Revolvers rarely Jam ( usually with reloads and a proud primer or squib load ) with factory ammo and will never let you down. Plus you don't have to go around picking up the evidence. Revolvers are no more reliable then a modern semi. Ive had a Colt Somehow bend the ejection rod while firing and wouldnt let the cylinder swing out. You are dead in the water. Semis have come a long way. I carry a small revolver in case I dont want to leave shell casings somewhere, but I also always have a Semi with me. Normally a G26 with 12 rd mag and 2 33 rd mags in the car. |

Quoting: George Carlin I used to carry a G30 delivering pizzas. Same size weight as the G29. A bit too heavy/chunky for me as a skinny guy. G26 fits better IWB for me. I shot a G20 10mm at the range once. Very sweet shooter. 10mm is a great round. |

Quoting: George Carlin I carried a G29 for a long time. Also had a G20 and a G40mos. I just had to admit finally that the recoil was too much and I could shoot the the G26 much faster on follow up shots. Got rid of all my 10mm except for a 1911. I carry that or a Ruger Alaskan 454 in the woods. For regular EDC now its either a g26 or sig 365. |

You didnt answer the question. Have you ever been in a firefight? Did you ever go to Ranger school? Were you infantry with 3 deployments? STFU then. |
