Yeah but if terminated due to no vax now with SCOTUS ruling, companies can be sued, class action style.

The ruling only prevented the Federal Government from mandating the vaccine, not private business. Yet you call me an idiot and don't even understand the ruling and are trying to insult someone that actually knows what's going on.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81039682

.

Of course they could try to coerce you, just that they open themselves up to lawsuit if they try, fail, then fire you .
There's is clear precedent for this .
Hint: the vax being pushed still isn't the one that was approved .

Here is another suggestion :
Go to Duck Duck go ( dun use google ) and do a search for lawsuits arising from this very issue , the literally MILLIONS of them .
Then watch as this policy crumbles via free market prsssure over the next two months .

Then search for the huge precedent of civil case law in this country going back a very long time .

You will find your arrogance is unfounded in anything other than an inflated sense of cognitive / research abilities ..and or perspective .

Re: Despite Supreme Court Ruling, Some Employers Will Still Require Vaccinations
The Biden administration’s nationwide Covid-19 vaccine-or-testing mandate for large private employers is dead, following the 6-3 Supreme Court opinion Thursday. But for many companies and their workers, a jab will still be a job requirement.

Simple solution - don't work there.

They will have a reduced pool of prospective employees, plus their vaxxed will be dead or dying soon enough.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78701318

And don't shop there, or attend there or give any company that requires vaccination anything whatsoever. Starve the beast.

Yes the SCOTUS ruled a stay, however, they pushed it back to the state level, so companies that are situated in liberal states, and have liberal bosses will suffer still. Can they eventually sue, sure but winning case laws will need to be established first.

Re: Despite Supreme Court Ruling, Some Employers Will Still Require Vaccinations
what the SCOTUS did yesterday is a 3/4 lose for the Americans, it was pure charade of a decision

they decided like the Government can not enact the mandates, but private businesses can still do it, so if you're living in Liberal ruled areas, you're fucked

another point is, that hospitals that get the MEDICARE AND MEDICAID aid, means the Government is refunding 70% of their operating and servicing costs, will also have to mandate it per the SCOTUS ruling, so in essence

the plan is this, on the long run, they'll seek to destroy the small and medium businesses in order then for the Government to have the chance to bail them out, thus if they'll want the money that will save them from bankruptcy, you'll get the funds, but you'll need to take the jabs same as those above mentioned hospitals and the people working in them

it's basically a tool to destroy the Capitalism and usher in Communism, in the end, the agenda is to NATIONALIZE these businesses and operations, with one word, CORPORATIZATION (The result of corporatization is the creation of state-owned corporations (or corporations at other government levels, such as municipally owned corporations) of everything you know and in order to work, do businesses with them, you'll have to take the jabs, see how this works...the plebs always get fucked heh

so they can force employees to take the HPV vaccine? the flu vaccine?

as someone mentioned before with drug testing.... smoking weed or doing drugs willingly and being tested for that doesn't equate to being force to take a medicine/vaccnine against your will.

name ONE drug or medical treatment a business can force their employee to take to stay employed.
 Quoting: 1-2-Follow

Name one drug: literally every health care employer requires measles, polio and smallpox vaccinations.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80928359

do they? thats on the application? pretty sure its illegal for them to ask for any of your medical history via the americans with disabilities act. (edit: oh i see you said "health care provider", which is a bit different than what we are talking about here with other workplaces)

i have NEVER been asked for any proof of vaccination ever or medical history to apply for a job, have you?
 Quoting: 1-2-Follow

You asked for an example of “one drug or medical treatment” a business can “force on their employee.” I provided three. Yes, in a hospital setting, vaccinations are required to prevent the spread of disease. Does that surprise you?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80928359

Hospital workers have always had exemptions from 'mandatory' vaccines.

The best advice I can give you : Simple : "I would like that in writing" . "I want to see a signed letter with a direct order for the Vaxx compliance." I need the signature of the person requiring this and It needs to specifically state my name directing ME to be vaxxed or I'm fired".

Re: Despite Supreme Court Ruling, Some Employers Will Still Require Vaccinations
You do what Robert Barnes, top attorney, said:

1. You get it in statement, policy statement writing. Because these guys are slippery eels, if they lay you off and say its because of the vaxx requirement but its actually not in writing as their policy, then in court they say you were incompetent and lie.

2. You find out what their insurance and health insurance coverage is, for the experimental vaxx? In case of injury and death.

Often these companies don't even know the half of it, and rely in CNN.

Many folded when those 2 demands were put in.

3. Then you demand they speak with their malpraciticing corporate lawyers to see why they're giving illegal advice, since Supreme Court just insured we can sue and appeal and own your company? Do they have Big Pharma as clients?

Again many companies withdraw demands at this point.

4. Then you demand a religious exemption and point out that the SC ruling assured that the mandates are illegal but in the health care field, ROBUST RELIGOUS AND MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS WERE GRANTED IN THE JUDGEMENT.

You tell them the legal definition of a religious exemption is a strong moral belief that cannot be questioned or refused, and cannot have any penalty such as unpaid leave attached or loss of job security as it is religious discrimination, and you give an example: Buck Versus Bell of the 1920's started the Eugenics era that saw many poor women sterilized and bodily integrity destroyed. Hitler praised the decision and based his eugenics on it. WW2 overturned that with robust laws and the Nuremburg Code, and informed VOLUNTARY consent, and you believe in execution of those who violate it very strongly and that is international law, so its an extremely strong moral belief.

ONLY THE STUPIDEST COMPANIES CONTINUE, AND THEY'RE LAW SUITS.

Are you a lawyer? Do you know what you’re talking about?

No and no.

Companies are well within their rights to mandate a jab. The ruling just says the government can’t mandate it as part of an OSHA regulation, and even then, the ruling only temporarily enjoins enforcement of the rule while the case continues to make its way through the courts.

Please, do go on about companies getting “sued into oblivion” lol.

lmao

Am calling it now, people...you can watch which businesses actually go thru' insurance carrier changes on different levels. E.g., big company that mandates, insurance provider either drops customer altogether or cost skyrockets up.
And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. That is what I call 'sustained incoherence.' ...David Bohm

Most states have their own osha too. Supreme Court basically told them to do it at the state level.

Its my feeling this isn't over yet.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78970623

Thank god states like Florida exist. We don't have a state level OSHA, though Desantis toyed with creating one to get out of the fed OSHA rules. Even if we had one, Florida's track record sofar means we wouldn't have vaxxxx mandate.

And those states have regulatory agencies they can abuse with more power the OHSA? Nope.

They will have to pass laws that are subject judicial review with the BoR firmly incorporated against them.

The best proxy we have to understand this is Jacobsen. Everyone should read it. It doesn't say what Libs claimed it does and lays out a clear test that the [non-solution thing] fails.

That precedent also resulted in a one-time $5 fine.

It's been two years. No one has written a law. Not CA. Not NY. Not DC. Not the Feds. It's all abuse of nebulous "emergency" authority because, as we have suspected, the [non-solution thing] has another purpose and none of these cowards want to be bag holders.

so if people pay that 5 dollar fine from back then, think it's 152 dollars in modern amount counting the inflation

then means people can buy their vaccination status, the penalty for not taking the jab right?

$5 in 1905 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $157.92 today, an increase of $152.92 over 117 years. The dollar had an average inflation rate of 2.99% per year between 1905 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 3,058.50%

but if it comes to it, they'll probably strike with hefty in the thousands fines
