Yes. Every year. It’s one of the missions of Special Forces. They work behind the scenes with smaller militias and armies of smaller countries to overthrow dictators. Several years ago they left their Special Warfare techniques to adopt an advisor role but they went back to their original missions recently. Now the advisors are a new designation, SFAB, so the actual 18 series Special Forces can do what they were trained to do, irregular warfare, up to and including working with smaller countries to oust dictators. This is not anything new.
