When did they raise the cost of a coke? A month or two ago it was still $1. Went this morning and it was $1.79. That’s a 79% increase. And the breakfast burrito sucked. Not sure what was different but they use to be edible if you poured their hot picante on it. Not this time. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

Before, with $1 you could get a comic book, a bag of chips, a bottle of soda, some gum, and still have money leftover. Nowadays a Dollar barely makes it for 1 can of soda, without tax at that. |

They've been doing that for a while now and it's been more evident with their "Combo Meals". Before, the Combos from McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's etc. were all offered in Medium size by default unless you specified SuperSize, King Size, or Go Biggie for an extra $0.49 cents. Now the Combos are offered by default in Small for the same price you paid for Medium, for Medium meals you now pay what you used to pay for Biggie/King/Super sizes. |

Things are different now and you would never believe what it will be like a year from now. Prep food, tp pt, soap, protection stuff, gas masks, etc. Prep more than you think you would ever need. You will thank me later. Good luck to the good US citizens. |

Not sure what was different but they use to be edible if you poured their hot picante on it. Not this time. Yup. When I was 6 (1949) I found a (silver) quarter (2 bits) on main street in our small mid west town of 1800 people. I took it to the general store and was able to buy a bottle of coke, a candy bar, and some penny candies. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 71055918 United States 01/11/2022 09:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You may want to consider the Bible..it says our generation will see all of scripture fulfilled including Armageddon and everything in the Book of Revelation. The generation began when Israel fulfilled Isaiah's prophecy of being "born in a day" in 1948. 6 days of creation, 1 day of rest, 6 days of work in a week for Hebrews, 1 day of rest, 6k years from Adam, 1k years of rest for this age. We are very close to Jesus coming for His bride and then all hell breaks loose. Here's what the Bible says about famine in those days: And I heard a voice from among the four living beings say, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day’s pay. And don’t waste the olive oil and wine.” Revelation 6:6 You can STILL be saved before IT begins: in private, ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you--tell Him you want Him to be your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins! Will be the smartest thing you've done in your life. |

Yah he did say they would modify their advertising campaigns to save costs but you can bet it means they will pass the inflation costs onto the customers.
