Child Services is set up to fail. It has a presumption that a child is best left with a biological parent to the exclusion of all else. There is a place for bunny hugging social workers, but investigating allegations of abuse and neglect is not one of them.

NO child should be placed in a home without certainty that the parent isn't a threat and no way in hell is a parent with a murder charge who gave a child a black eye and abused and degraded her by cleaning a toilet with a (her) toothbrush ever going to be fit for anything other than lethal injection.

I'm posting this thread in hopes that it might bring more attention to this case. This sweet 7 year old girl has been missing since 2019 and was just reported missing a few days ago by her mom. Sounds like a complicated situation between custody and foster care, etc.

Her dad was given custody in 2019 after she was in foster care. I'm not sure yet what happened that landed her in foster, but the dad has now been charged with assault from 2019. He gave her a black eye. He also made her clean the toilet with her toothbrush.

This is right up there with Casey Anothony imo.

Currently the police are handling the case as if Harmony is still alive.

Please pray for this little girl!

She's so sweet. Her little cross eye melts my heart. My daughter developed an eye condition when she was 2 years old where her eye turned in like that. She had 20/20 vision though. Glasses fully corrected it after several years, thankfully. But she was too cute in her little glasses.

I hope this little girl is found alive.

I know a lot of people talk crap on the internet, but I promise if I caught that guy (or any man) hurting a child like that... I’d take care of him real quick without a second thought. Hurting children makes my blood violently boil.
