A story just came out that a little girl who has been missing since 2019 was found under the stairs in a home, alive. My heart dropped. I thought, maybe this is it! They found her! It wasn't little Harmony. But I suppose this can give us hope that it's possible that she is alive.

No trial date set yet in case involving father of Harmony Montgomery

MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A dispositional conference hearing was held Friday morning in the case involving a missing 7-year-old New Hampshire girl who hasn't been seen in more than two years.

Days after Harmony Montgomery's case came to light late last year, Adam Montgomery was arrested in January and charged with second-degree assault interference with custody and endangering the welfare of a child.

Adam Montgomery was not in the courtroom for Friday's hearing.

With the investigation in the early stages, no plea offer has been prepared and no trial date was set.

"While charges have been brought, the investigation concerns a variety of different areas. The investigation and discovery that’s being generated applies to the current charges as well," Jesse O'Neill, the prosecutor, said.

Both sides will need additional time to review evidence in the case, which continues to build over time.

There was a story on my phone the other day of another missing little girl. At first glance, I thought it was "our" little one. There are an awful lot of kids missing lately. Seems like more than before. Maybe I'm just seeing more stories now. Idk.

This is so so sad - a little girl just drops right off the face of the earth and no one notices or knows anything or much cares… her case gets some notoriety simply because she did drop off the face of the earth for, I forget, a year before it was even reported to the agency that was in charge of her placement? So she gets a news cycle or two and then right back to oblivion…
Her disappearance and obvious death speaks volumes about us as humans - we have lost the ability to care or connect or pay attention - life has become disposable and is no more missed or felt than a casually disposed of non descript/undifferentiated piece of garbage…

It's all very sad. Any of course it's not just little Harmony that this has happened to. I think this case just touched my heart so much because it's pretty local, her little glasses and crossed eye, the parents' struggles, etc.

The step mom, Kayla, is still in custody. This young woman who was found dead was Adam's current girlfriend. The one he was found sleeping in a car with when he was arrested in December.

I know, it's a cluster. Dad and step mom had been separated for a while. Apparently the step mom and current girlfriend who just passed were friends at some point. I think really good friends.

This crap reminds me of all the drama we had with the young women that worked for Mr. TB at the hotels. Didn't matter it was a different brand, different city. Same shit, same drugs, same drama.
