Quoting: Doc_Holiday I was thinking the other day of how a major public figure like Clarence Thomas has been generally ignored, if not outright slammed, by a lot of the "pro-diversity" crowd. If those black climbers were cultural-political conservatives, the people publicizing and celebrating their efforts would be hoping their rock climbing equipment was frayed and rusty. Put a sock in it, liberals. |

He’s summited all seven of the highest peaks on each continent, and in 2008, he trekked to the South Pole, across snow and ice covering 111 kilometers in 65 days. |

They've raised over $150k in crowd funding to "train". How much you want to bet that their climb gets canceled due to weather or some such shit and they keep all the money? They have no intention to climb. This is just a lazy assed way to collect money. "I know that my Redeemer lives and in the end He will stand on the Earth." Job 19:25 |

I would say Pakistani and Nepali climbers are not exactly "Whites". A number of them have conquered the 14 highest summits. I came. I saw. I Concorde. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81746421 I hike and camp a lot, and I hardly ever see blacks. Years ago here, in Pacific Northwest, I met a black guy, Caribbean I think, who was a serious, serious, all-in birdwatcher. 100% kind of guy travels internationally to view and study birds. Thought that was cool. Also I am subscribed to two black homesteading family channels on youtube, they are both very Christian and have good channels for gardening information. I'm just saying that because it's nice and true, not to say you're wrong in any way, and not to put anyone on a pedestal either. Just for discussion, for fun. This has led to the contamination of the local watershed, which threatens the health of local people. ... Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first people known to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. It was a death-defying feat of endurance that captured the world’s imagination. Since then, thousands of visitors have flocked to the mountain, and it is starting to take its toll. Today, Everest is so overcrowded and full of trash that it has been called the “world’s highest garbage dump.” -50% read more: [link to www.nationalgeographic.org (secure)] I came. I saw. I Concorde.
