Back to eden is an old book, kinda quaint, but it is a great basic for natural medicine.

How about a good old-fashioned space opera?

This is one of the best I have ever read, so good I have to read it again every two or three years.

It's a trilogy by Debra Doyle and James D. Macdonald.

The titles are:
1. The Price of the Stars
2. Starpilot’s Grave
3. By Honor Betray’d

That was a great book, I believe there was a follow up book to it? I read it in my late twenties. It had me trying to find auras in everything.
