I went through this in early Nov. Prednisone and Claratin D made me go from where she is to feeling ok in about a half hour or so. However i couldn't shake the fatigue and low grade fever which came back after the pred ran out. I was on vit D, lysine, arginine, milk thistle and a couple other things. I finally ordered some NAC and quercetin and zinc. Within a couple days i was feeling better and the feverwas going lower and lower. When i finally reached my baseline temp i was cured, took a test and it was negative, almost three weeks.

Not sure if the NAC, quercitin and zinc did it or it just ran it's course...but it seemed to help.
