I agree. I feel like the opening battle in the most recent Battlestar Galactica series was an ominous warning about how reliant we are upon electronics made in another country.

Most people will choose the easy path because it promises temporary safety, conformity and acceptance. They don't realize or want to accept what the longer term consequences will be. It's sad.
