The trans Jeopardy champ.

She's no doubt good. Seems very nice.

But.

It's just so cringe. I can't even enjoy the game. It's just too distracting.

Sometimes our kid walks thru the room and we and we dive for the remote to switch channels, because why do we want to deal with that and all the ensuing questions when we're just chilling after dinner, during family time?

Plus, if she's going to do the trans thing, be definitively one or the other. Male or female. Pick one.

Why look like a man, dressed as a woman? It screams cheeky. Attention seeking. She affects feminine and wears pearls and make up but her hair and clothes are nondescript, almost unisex.

I don't care how anyone chooses to live their life, but I don't understand why we have to deal with other people's issues while watching a family friendly game show.

I get that there are trans teens, etc, people struggling with identity issues who need acceptance in their personal life. But it's a family show and that is mature content, no matter how you look at it. They even advertise a podcast or blog during the show where she answers questions We can't recall them doing that for Matt Amodio or James Holtzhauer.

It's like they are capitalizing on the freakshow feel. It's sad and voyeuristic.

And I wonder who at Jeopardy thinks anyone in their target audience wants to be confronted with this when they are trying to just enjoy a simple game show?

Funny too how Wheel of Fortune robs a regular woman of an Audi she righteously won but Jeopardy promotes a trans woman, up against nothing but crappy players.

Anyways, not trying to lay down hate, it's just frustrating and awkward.
