Cipro can shred your achilles tendon Never take unless prescribed and monitored UTI often goes amoxicillin - cheap and easy to get via teledoc or call to Dr office. No home remedy if UTI has been persistent. The infection can spread if untreated It ripped the tendon in the back of my knee. Only two days on it, I was just walking a few steps down my hallway and felt this awful rip. Doctor's office denied it could be the Cipro. I have it in all my charts now that I'm allergic. The heart is a muscle and can be affected, too, and no way I'm taking that chance.
