My take on the new positive cases being reported- it's Christmas week so a LOT of people are getting tested. And, since Omicron is so contagious...and so mild... of COURSE there's gonna be a shit-ton of positivity. The majority of which are likely a surprise to asymptomatic folk getting tested. Ohhh noooo.... herd immunity without the jab. Pfizer could lose some profits...oh noooooo

Also, I know it's a thing to talk about New York as a huge city with a few towns around it, but 99% of New York State is not NY city. The rest of us look at NY city like some illegitimate kid from that fat chick you drunk-banged in college. You try to pretend it's not there, but deep down, you know.

the only answer to their problems is obviously to get more ineffective shots in to the veins of the public, take away more freedom from the unvaccinated, and tighter mask mandates all the way down to wearing them in your own home or else you'll be in big, big trouble!

i've been 2 years and never been tested once and have no reason to.

if i feel bad, i'll stay home.

Yes and the media keeps saying that omicron is 5.6% more likely then delta to reinfect....but the reinfection rate is less then 1%.....5.6 x .023 is still just about 1% reinfection rate.

Sigh... the long and short of it is I have some wonderful family that drank the koolade and, failing to convince me to get the jab, want a negative test for Christmas day. I'm stubborn, but not unreasonable, so I can do that for them, if it will put them at ease. It's gonna be a long road ahead.

It's been a sham from the very beginning when they changed the definition of 'case'. It had to unravel. There's no way around it. It's a variation of 3-card Monte. It cannot stand up to actual scrutiny.

Those future NAVY and AIR FORCE maps show Florida underwater pretty much. Same with NYC - check out the pillars on the Fed Building in NYC, showing disasters to come right on the top of the pillars for anyone to see.
