The 2000 years set dawn. 2020 view lockdown was around the time christ was crucified.

This interpretation, no doubt, has much appeal to it, and does seem to conform rather well to Biblical chronology (the Ussher Chronology, for example, dates creation at 4004 B.C. and the call of Abraham at about 2000 B.C.), and we now have about 2000 years since the birth of Christ, so it is understandable that many would place the beginning of the promised millennial age at 2000 A.D. 

An unusually long, three hour, eclipse or dark atmospheric cloud cover happened over the land of Israel. It occurred from 12pm (6th hour) to 3pm (9th hour) Jerusalem time in the spring of 33 CE. It would have been Friday April 1, on Nisan 14th. So while the darkness was natural its duration was miraculous, for eclipses nor dark clouds last for that much of an extended amount of time in one area over the earth. So God used what was practical, natural and available to display his displeasure.

So, counting backwards Jesus started his ministry at the age of 30 within a year of John the baptizer's ministry who began in 29 CE (AD) in the fifteenth year of Caesar Tiberius. Therefore Jesus was born 30 years earlier in 2 BCE (BC) (there is no year 0, dates went from 1 BCE to 1 CE) from 30 years of age in 29 CE his ministry lasted 3 1/2 years when he was put to death in the year 33 CE on Thursday Nisan 14. Therefore, in the year 2020 (2020 - 33) Jesus had been dead as a human for 1987 years. By spring of 2033 CE he will have been dead as a human on earth for 2000 years.

Jesus died about April 1, 33 CE at 3pm. So the spring of 2033 CE, in April according to the Gregorian calendar in relation to the get lost calendar, Jesus will have been dead as a human, but as a spirit will have returned to earth with an army of angels to judge the earth. This will be after he will have cut short those initial days of the Great tribulation upon his true disciples, seal the slaves of God and resurrected these holy ones. But his judgment will result in adverse judgment upon the opposing world of mankind and the destruction of Babylon the Great and then the time of Armageddon during the fall of 2034 CE ending the great tribulation.

Although we cannot know the day nor hour, look to the year 2027 CE for his return! But March through April of 2020 CE makes it 1987 years since his death and March through April of 2033 CE will be 2,000 years since his death as a human and resurrection as a spirit. He should bring an end to all humanities problems in the fall of 2034 CE.

Now that the new millennium is upon us, everyone is using the word, either rejoicing that the age of Aquarius is about to dawn (with its global New Age order) or perhaps fearful that it signals the imminence of the great tribulation and Armageddon.
