I don't know what to say.But this activity is scary.Ridges are moving and pushing things around the World.And January is known for big volcano and quake doom

I didn't know that about January, but there's definitely a lot happening today.

I just remembered there was a 5 on the southern Mid-Atlantic. So all up and down that ridge!

If it helps the Earth is at perihelion with the Sun round about now, then it will start being futher away again (roughly 5 million kms difference between peri and anti).

Things look much calmer today. There was a 4.4 in Greece. Hope NatureNut is ok!

La Palma volcanic eruption:
They knew magma was accumulating three and a half months before the eruption and did nothing!

A new article published in Nature Geoscience shows that the Spanish emergency management officers were aware of magma accumulating beneath the La Palma volcano three and a half month prior the eruption and did nothing to prevent it…

AGAIN! They knew it and did nothing. What if the USGS and other offices around the world are doing the same, hiding important security data from us, the people. What if on their websites, they were only showing what they wanted us to see?

Not surprising at all. I think many things are merit from the general public. Why? I think mostly for money. Even the Canary islands are wanting tourists to keep coming and spending they can.

If it were a larger disaster though, say an asteroid that would kill a lot of people, they would keep it quiet. Especially if they couldn't do anything about it. Society would completely break down.
