Europe's Covid paradox country: Romania - low vax rate, low infection rate

And I strongly believe the vax rate numbers in Romania are inflated.

They say 40% of adult Romanians got 2 doses.

But there is a curfew for the unvaxxed, with fines in place for those who break the curfew.
And with so many threats of furloughs, not many want to risk a fine.
And yet... once the curfew is in place the streets are pretty much as empty as they were back in March 2020 when there was no vax certificate allowing people to go out whenever they want.

Something is weird.

Most likely we are slowly reaching natural immunity. People did not wear the mask correctly and did not care much about social distancing.
Also the stupid idea of restricting unvaccinated access to most places did lead to absolutely overcrowded supermarkets where the unvaccinated were actually allowed . Unfortunately antibody tests are not accepted as proof of immunity.

The effects of covid relate directly to the proportion of the population who are narcissistic and afraid, plus the amount of corruption at the government level.

How many spoiled, entitled, hippie babyboombers and genx afraid of catching a cold does Romania have? How many kids who will get vaxed just to see a shitty FooFighters concert does Romania have? How many corrupt, power-hungry, freedom-hating leaders does Romania have?

You really believe the infection rates they give us?

there is no paradox here, that is called a double blind study

and proves the vaccine is causing covid.

Could be, but the same could be said about the rest of the EU countries. And why wouldn't Romania fake its infection rates so that they would match the rest of the EU?

One theory I heard is that the Romanian authorities want to allow Romanians to enjoy the holidays, fearing a backlash, and that the authorities will increase the case numbers once the holidays are over.

Of course, this means the case numbers are all artificial and controlled by those who carry out the tests.

Kind of obvious.
