Southwest Airlines: Person jumps out of plane while taxiing at Sky Harbor airport

A person jumped out of a plane while it was taxiing at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Saturday morning, according to a Southwest Airlines spokesperson.

The Phoenix Fire Department described the person as a 30-year-old man. After leaving the plane, he entered the onsite fire station, walked into a dormitory room and locked himself inside, department spokesman Capt. Todd Keller said.

It’s getting nutty out there.
