God doesn't like religion. Religion was invented by man - as a substitute to a real relationship with God. It involves a system of rules - do's and don'ts... that a person can conform to - which in theory will make them feel 'religious'.

Jesus had a big problem with the religious leaders of His day. One example:

Matthew 6:5  And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 

God on the other hand, is more concerned with a living breathing relationship.

Instead of just betting your soul on what sounds good at the moment, you can ask God directly. Just ask sincerely...

While you are asking God, address your queries "to: The Most High God"... You do this simply by preceding with that before you say anything else.

- God.. I don't really believe that You exist. But if You are real.. then show me so that I know and never doubt You again.

- God, if I'm not Your child.. then please make me into one.

- Show Yourself to me. I want to know You better. Not just from my head.. but from my heart as well.

- God, You know what's coming... Whatever is coming, please prepare my heart for it now... so that when it comes, I'm ready.

- God, what is all the hype about Jesus? If Jesus is important to Your plans, then please explain to me how.

If it weren't for religion and it's ability to unite people under a common set of beliefs and morals in a society we would still be living as hunter/gatherers.

So atheism not only stunts the advancement of human society it also has an evil and murderous history that mathematics has proven is more than 182,000 times as murderous as nations led by theists.

Atheists should be ashamed at their historical record and feel obligated to pay reparations to theists.
