My horse is about two miles from there. All the horses are nervous. They’re out of the barn and in the pasture but we’re on high alert in case we need to move quickly. Helicopters are scooping water out of local ponds to drop on the fire. I haven’t heard anyone say for sure how it started, lots of speculation at this point. It’s dry and windy.
