Anonymous Coward User ID: 79788051 United Kingdom 11/29/2021 04:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Scotland’s deputy first minister has said “some” of the six new omicron infections in the country were not linked to overseas travel. There will be 1000's of confirmed UK cases by the end of the week. I wouldn't be too surprised if it originated in the UK, 40000-50000 cases a day throughout summer and no restrictions and hardly any masks, at least in England, since Boris pretended it had gone away. |

He says that "only half" of the lighthouse testing facilities in the UK are "able to immediately" spot it. This contact tracing advice suggests the Omicron cases could have been contracted earlier than when South Africa first alerted the world to the variant on 23 November.
