the film get back...which i have not seen...

had something like 54 hours of film they edited down to a couple of hours,

what they should have done is release the whole 54 hours for the people that want that,

these cats were the first to make THE reality show,

they were always looking for ways to do new things,

and get back was..although they did not realize it at the time,

the first big reality show... with all the bells and whistles inlcuded!...yoko stood out dramatically..for lack of a better word,

the reality show that never made it out of the box,

but now we have a movie...yay!

two boring hours...

i personally think there is a lot of good stuff in the rest of the reels,

such is the thinking of media corp. though

always limited in their way of thinking,

I agree. I want to see all 54 hours.

Probably lots of examples of stuff like Lennon screaming "dammit Billy, if we knew you were like this we would never have agreed to letting you in".

I want to see them too but I doubt they will ever be published as a whole in separate parts.

Didn't Michael Jackson buy the rights to all the Beatles songs? True or false?

Yes it's my understanding that he did.

Consequently we had to endure a bubblegum version of "Help" as a health insurance commercial. Vomit.

However, I also heard that Faul bought them back, so there is that one positive thing.

jackson was having financial problems and i believe he sold a good chunk of the rights,

so now the songs are fair game,

i think that what they wanted with this film was to downplay the uncomfortable parts,

which i think was a mistake,

cause what makes the reels interesting is to see them on their bad days...

the tension on some days was so thick you could cut it with a butter knife...

it was a common rule that wives and spouses would not be in the recording sessions all the time....but yoko managed to break that rule,

and he rest of the band really could not say anything,

what could they say to john? he was the leader of the band,
