The Beatles: Get Back Part 1
Wow, what an insight into the band!

Turns out Paul wasn't a tyrant, or bossy, just thrust into power by everyone else's attrition.

It's a shame that a few times he gently suggested George's guitar skills were not up to snuff and he should back off, but in a way George kind of sat there and begged for it. It is clear from the Doc that George had deeper things on his mind than the silly kind of pap that Paul was cranking out.

John might've been on Heroin at this time, the doc doesn't make it clear, but he was certainly functional yet very, very passive. He seems as if he felt dwarfed by Paul's musical genius and was happy riding side-car and taking 1/2 credit. Not in a greedy way, just an empty tank who happened to have a pretty sweet deal.

Ringo...who did you murder??? Why is Ringo so fucking sad? His wife too, she comes in and is a Depressive princess. Ringo is all about his upcoming movie roll and he can always crank out a working beat on command, no worries, except whomever he murdered haunting him.

Yoko: she doesn't seem to have bothered anyone and was respectful and probably kept John intact. I can see how she was kind of cute and they seemed like real love between them.

Linda: A Nikon shooter, so thumbs up from me.

Clearly Paul was the Beatles at this time, and his only fault was being super creative and versatile...filled with rich musical ideas that were overwheming to John and not interesting to George.

Can't wait to see how it all comes together.

John just sat back and let Paul try to be the leader. He is taunting Paul during his little impromptu if you want it you have to get it. Paul was fed not the Beatles at this time.

Its John who was the total professional. From the very start. It was his band after all.

Lennon carried the band until they were able to fly off on their own. He sacrificed like a parent does for their kids. They abandoned John. Not the other way around. He got them to the point where they all thought they were bigger than him.

Re: The Beatles: Get Back Part 1
John didn’t feel dwarfed. Get back was Paul’s idea and the rest of the band reluctantly agreed to do it. They all didn’t want to be there. So Paul is trying to lead and the rest are just sitting back because they are pretty much done.

Ringo was sad because Paul was dead. Look at the early footage of Paul, then there's a little break where they announced the Beatles wouldn't play out anymore, then the bearded, 3" taller, 20 pound heavier, old lady faced Faul is the rest of the show. (Paul and John were the same size, could wear each other's suits.)
Billy could adopt anyone's singing style, his dad was a music professor, he was an accomplished pianist. He was a perfect stand in after some surgery.

The three were demoralized.

And may I introduce to you,
the one and only Billy Shears
and Sergeeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band..

Faul was a good pianist- Paul was not.
Faul made a string of cover singles under the name of
Billy and the Pepper Pots.

Don't bother trying to tell me otherwise, I've known this for 50 years now.

Streamed over Disney+.

Toward the end John wouldn't be quiet while George was trying to offer some input about an arrangement, so he
QUIT THE BAND.

Now that's demoralized.

John and Paul were always belittling his contributions, being rich, he had f*** you money.

Paul lies a lot. Like him taking credit for things John did. Like the Erie ahhh. Aaahhaaa aaaahh. I’m in a day in the life.

I have a huge collection of moggs, which separate the track out of old songs, And ive listened to just that part. And it’s John. There are more vocals going on in that part that you can hear in the full song. It is 100% John Lennon.

He quit the band because he hated Paul for secretly going behind others backs and got more royalties. Which is what the song how do you sleep is about.

B.S. - John never, in any interviews, mentioned nor accused McCartney of wrongfully taking credit for things he did.

Also B.S. - McCartney and Lennon split royalties between each other for songs they wrote, whether together or apart - they agreed to put both their names on as songwriters and split the money. George and Ringo got paid for what they wrote - all the Beatles split a the publishing equally after their management took a quarter share.

How Do You Sleep is John just bitching about McCartney after the split - which later on, John said in interviews that the song wasn't really about McCartney, but was more accurately a reflection on himself.

Sorry, no, it's NOT John it's actually Paul and Paul has never actually talked about that bit or falsely claimed it was him. Why would he need to? We all know the middle section of the song is Paul's baby. It wasn't just those few lines.

You are letting the nasal quality and reverb fool you. Under all that is Paul sounding exactly like he did at the beginning of "Lovely Rita". At the very end of it where he brings it to a close you can clearly tell it is Paul. People think it's John because of the nasal tone and reverb without listening to it critically. There simply is no John voice there and I know their voices (talking, singing and clowning) like I know my friends and family's voices.

I also always assumed it was John BEFORE actually hearing the isolation and Holy Cow it's really Paul doing a John imitation. John could have never pulled that off anyways.

Paul was obviously a better business man, and had the songwriting nack of being able to consistently pump out the commercial hits even in the 80's.

He had at least 6 mega hits on the Billboard charts in this decade

I could agree more, but I just get on a tear with it. It is obvious what happened and that Paul was changed and then they couldn't tour, and then they broke up. Green-eyed Faul is different than dark brown-eyed Paul.
