Honestly. What is the best mosquito repellent?

I have heard this too, and also that taking vitamin B for several days will make them stay away from you, but I haven’t tested it.

Mosquitoes absolutely HATE the smell of Vicks Vapor Rub !!

You can prolly figure out a way to diffuse it around your balcony ???

Skin So Soft lotion from Avon. If you don't know anyone who sells Avon I'm pretty sure they have it on Amazon.

or just a big stinky cigar,just dont inhale.we smoke em when fishing on warm evenings.helps with biting flies too.i notice blonde people seem to get bit more.Gasoline attracts those little fuckers big time

I did a little experiment this past summer up in Northern Ontario.
For those who don't know, out in the bush in Northern Ontario the bugs - mosquitoes and black flies are insane.

For the experiment I tried:
Deep Woods Off
Johnson's Baby Creamy Oil with Aloe and Vit E.
Oil of Oregano from Natural Factors(small bottle with dropper - NOT the concentrated stuff)

Oil of Oregano worked the best.
Deep Woods Off was the worst. It only kept the bugs off me for about 45 seconds after it was applied.
