I tried to listen to it the other night. I just can’t stand the autotune being used. Not sure if it is used for effect or what. I just can’t stand autotune with the retune speed cranked up.

Been listening to this new album a lot.

There is something about the style of the Plant Krauss stuff that bugs me. Well sung, well produced and well played. But it is just nothing I'd want to hear more than a few times.

I think that is what is missing in music now. The revisitability. Bands used to make albums that had levels of moods and interesting playing, lyrics that made you want to listen over and over. Power that made you feel what they were feeling.

Music now seems like an overproduced movie scene or something where everything is just kind of blah. No heart or something.

Plant still has a good voice. I was listening to the Rain Song by Zep yesterday. His voice was otherworldly back then. Just a bygone era.
