Kyle Rittenhouse Trial - Verdict Is In ! - NOT GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES !

This was my take earlier. He definitely knows the people of his community better than we do & can see the body language of the Jurors. At the same time he reminds me of the parent constantly yelling that their kid has gone too far but never actually imposing discipline.

I am with camp Kyle. However, if the jury is in possession of higher definition footage which indisputably shows Rittenhouse pointed his gun, then maybe some of the murder charges (not necessarily 1st degree) could be argued. If it is like the footage we've seen, then utter b/s. Even if you believe that it could be showing what the prosecutor alleges, there is nothing for certain in that video and you are SUPPOSE to award the person benefit of doubt, especially in light of the fact that it is not his regular hand. Someone did upload that the new video, but it was highly compressed by Twitter to the same 4mb size as the one they supplied the defense. Only zoomed in presentations like this would preserve some of that added quality (not sure if this is sourced from it or not).

If that video is shown to be what caused the jury to convict, he should get a mistrial based on it due to the fact that prosecution didn't provide the high def video whereby the defense could have formulated arguments about Zed Nafinski having a gun in his hand as he approached Kyle, as some say. It does not necessarily constitute a lie on Kyle's part the fact that he made no mention of ever raising his weapon. I would not remember half the things these people claim to, and I suspect their memories are helped by things like video evidence. Would I remember that detail? I don't know. Not saying a 'reasonable person' wouldn't. Maybe I would. Let it go to court in that form.

(Don't start quoting me on his name being Zed Nafinsky. LOL.)

OMG.....IF Kyle wasn't in "DANGER" (Your Word) there wouldn't have been any need for him to have ever fired his gun.

So, lets use your logic...those who ATTACKED Kyle don't get to put THEMSELVES IN DANGER and then claim they were in "danger"....

I hope you are correct. To me, the judge seems more worried about public opinion than the law.

For me this case is now moving into the same surreal land that we've grown used to seeing every high profile issue grow into nowadays. The kind where you are just sitting there scratching your head thinking how in the hell did it come to this. This farce need to end and this young man needs to be allowed to return home to be with his family.

He should figure out a way. Plenty of people would help support his defense with donations. I thought there had already been donations for his defense. But, these guys aren’t good.

What amazes me is the defense attorney in the Derick Chauvin case was so much better than these guys. He was all by himself.

You may be right. But that seems like the QAnon theories in that it depends on the idea that there are hidden heroes in our government just waiting to do the right thing. I don’t think I’ve even seen that happen. Not once.

Most people in our country have no integrity and no courage. People in government necessarily have even less than the average American.

Therein lies the problem with the drone video. There was ZERO foundational evidence presented as to it's authenticity, no evidence as to who actually filmed it, the prosecution withheld the better quality video from the defense...HELL, the damn prosecution couldn't even tell the court where or who it came from ....it should NEVER have been allowed into evidence.

The footage does not can cannot show that Kyle pointed his gun. Video lies. Video is 2D and not 3D. We’ve all seen photographic or video illusions. Video, by itself, is not reliable evidence. If someone testified that Kyle pointed his gun and the video supported that it would be one thing. But by itself the video evidence is reasonably doubtful.

Also, the video should never have been admitted as evidence. I can’t imagine how it was. No one testified as to the origin of the video, right? The judge is awful to have allowed it as evidence.

Yeah, this judge is awful for having allowed it in. I don’t see how anyone could hold out hope for him to declare a mistrial with prejudice.

Oh yeah, there is no way this would have taken this long without this being the outcome we will receive.
