Mine fell asleep on my head. I was lying down looking at the laptop in the bedroom because my wife was watching some crazy talk show in the living room. The cat has made her nest in the headboard behind my head. She is now lying with my head as her support. I do not know how long I will be here unable to move.

Her name is Nefre. She's a mainecoon. If she takes after her daddy, she will be huge. Her little paws are already the size of a regular adult housekitty.

I see many folks are thinking that but I'm not so sure. Also, why wait? If he is going to declare a mistrial if he waits until after the jury verdict to do so I think it would provoke more outrage in the community by setting aside their verdict.

I still wish someone would tell me how it was an "insurrection" when the mostly peaceful protesters weren't armed. And the only person that got shot was a protestor. If that was an insurrection it was the dumbest insurrection of all time considering they weren't armed and had no apparent plan...

Well at the least waiting to declare a mistrial would be in the defendants advantage ? As waiting for an innocent verdict before declaring , is a hedge in a manner of speaking

The verdict should be pretty clear but a few jury members probably want to throw the kid under the bus for their own safety than do the right thing. That is most likely causing a big fight among them.
