Probably some sort of CYA move on their part.

But I hope they simply reconsidered and are signing off on your exemption
 Quoting: Hall of Mirrors

I'm sure it is a CYA!! They do not have a copy of my form. In fact I asked to email the form to them as I don't have a printer. The assistant told me they didn't have an email and for me to bring a copy with me!! Please what doctors offices don't have an email address??!!
 Quoting: Guess Who2

That's a first for me!!

They have to have email.. for insurance purposes and all the other things people use it for.

That's insane... you have no printer.. they have no email.. there's a good joke in there somewhere.

Some states are limiting the number of exemptions a doc can sign. Don’t take it personally, though it does suck. Probably insurance related
 Quoting: jackleson

Don't take it personally?

It is all personal. Waaaay too personal.

To us on the receiving end of this insanity it is very personal!!

Re: My doctor sent me a registered letter..hmmmm what could it be about??
Background..I went to my doctor earlier this month to ask them to sign my COVID-19 vaccine exemption form. I've been going to this physician for over 20 years. Every year. Blood check for the usual cholesterol...sugar levels etc.

I explained to them about the history of blood clots in my family. My 32 year old nephew died of blood clot issues in May 2019. My mom, aunt and grandmother always had blood clot issues however I never brought it up because it has never been an issue with me.

But no they would not sign my form. They did not feel comfortable signing the form because I didn't meet any of the vaccine health exemptions. They proceeded to tell me how they have been researching a vaccine for the SARS-Cov-2 for 17 years as well as a vaccine for AIDS (not sure why that was relevant). They feel that I need the vaccine.

I was almost in tears. I said I'm sorry you feel that way..gathered my stuff and walked out saying under my breath "guess I'm gonna have to get a new doctor" and proceeded to the check out with tears in my eyes...paid my copay and cried all the way home.

Now today I have a note in my mailbox saying they tried to deliver a registered letter (one you have to sign for so the sender has proof you got it) from my doctor's office!!!

WTF??
 Quoting: Guess Who2

They tell you that the coronavirus vaccine has been researched for 17 years, but fail to mention that not a single one ever made it to human trials because all of the animals died of blood clots, other cardio issues, lung issues or ADE?

Classic lie by omission.

Doctors and pharmaceutical companies keep asking "hOw cAn wE ReGaiN PeOplE'S tRUsT??????" Well, you can stop lying. That would be a good start.

Re: My doctor sent me a registered letter..hmmmm what could it be about??
My doctor said to me, " I LOVE masks and Vaccines," ( she knows I am anti vaxx), said she can't be my doctor anymore because I moved out of state unless I come in physically ( no more zooms) cuz she has to check my breast, etc., ( she's never even in her office), I really fear she wants me in her office to force vaccine on me, I saw how they did it with my kids, they just bring it in while you're there half naked and vulnerable and pretend it's just routine. I am looking for new doctor

Thanks for all the comments. I don't know what to do. Sign or not sign???
 Quoting: Guess Who2

I would sign, because I have more control if I know what it is. Also, somebody mentioned that they still accomplish their goal with attempted delivery whether you sign or not.

Don't get it. If you sign it they will have official record you were notified. If they want to tell you something have them call you, but DON"T SIGN FOR THAT LETTER!!!!!!
 Quoting: Nexus-9

Bad advice. It doesn't matter if it is signed for or not. All that matters is that it was sent to the correct address and they have the receipt showing delivery was attempted but it wasn't signed for. They have proof of attempted notification.

ALWAYS sign for registered letters. There is literally zero benefit in not signing for them, unless you like being uninformed.
 Quoting: Inquire Within

Worse advice. Attempted service is not proof of service. Registered letters are a poor mans process service.

That is stupid! How could they not have email?

It's usually on their card OP. Or a printer.

Nah, your doctors office sounds untrustworthy

to receive your business. Move on and be sure to

find someone 'against vaccines' as not all doctors

are for them. See if you can afford one in

"private practice" and not affiliated with any health

group company...just a thought. Even if it's just

for one visit for the exception. Ca$h talks these days...

They either are divorcing you as a patient or they changed their mind and sent the exemption form. It's one or the other. Let us know. It's disgusting they argued with you and wouldn't give it to you.

Hey I really appreciate your comment. Thanks.

I have my yearly exam at the end of next month so I figure they are saying since I am not vaccinated they can no longer treat me. I wonder if they will have a date..like as of 1 January I will no longer be seeing unvaccinated patients" or if they are going to be even worse and say I will longer be your doctor and cancel my upcoming appointment??

We'll see. I'll post what it said when I sign for it!!

OMG!! I thought I lived in America...evidently not anymore. I never dreamed I would live long enough to actually see this happen. It was always "a conspiracy" to think that they would actually carry out their evil plans!! Now it's happening before our eyes!!! Very sad.

You made it clear you were firing them so his ego has caused him to try to get back at you. That should tell you all you need to know.

Something to ask any doc who “recommends” the vaccine in order to be treated is if they’re prepared to be liable for any side effects since the 2005 PREP Act states that companies, individuals or institutions that mandate an experimental vaccine can be held liable. If he’s requiring you have the vaccine to treat you that’s a mandate.

I was looking for a new doctor online and was reading one review. It went something like this.

Review: "Dr. XXXX is totally crazy. I went to see her and she told me the covid19 vaccine causes blood clots. What a crazy doctor she is for saying that."
