A U.S. ambassador compared the investigations into alleged war crimes committed by Russian forces in Ukraine to the Nuremberg trials that took place at the conclusion of World War II.

Ambassador Beth Van Schaack, the U.S. ambassador-at-large for global criminal justice, described the current situation in Ukraine as “truly a new Nuremberg moment,” adding “just as the Allies at the end of the Second World War advanced the imperative of justice and ushered in a new era of accountability for the worst imaginable crimes,” during an event at the McCain Institute on Wednesday.



Ukraine’s prosecutor general office has identified “thousands” of incidents that may constitute war crimes, many of which were only uncovered after Russian forces had to retreat from territories that they were occupying.

Deploying US rocket systems at Bornholm to lead to escalation with Russia, envoy says

MOSCOW, June 2. /TASS/. Russia has cautioned that any attempt by the US to deploy rocket systems at Denmark’s Bornholm Island with the possibility of striking targets in the Kaliningrad Region will lead to the unacceptable escalation of a conflict between the two countries, Konstantin Gavrilov, who leads the Russian delegation to the Vienna talks on military security and arms control, said on Wednesday.

The diplomat reiterated that on May 24, within the framework of the Defender Europe 2022 military drills, the deployment was practiced of the US М142 HIMARS artillery system with the range of 500 kilometers and the potential goal to strike targets in the Kaliningrad Region. "We resolutely warn the US and its satellites that any such step will be considered as a military attack on our country and will inevitably lead to an unacceptable escalation of the conflict," he said at the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation.

Russia rehearsed ‘takeover’ of Denmark
A new US report reveals that thousands of Russian soldiers took part in a huge military exercise which simulated a takeover of Bornholm, the second such Russian exercise aimed at the Danish island.

“If carried out successfully, control of those territories would make it all but impossible for Nato allies to reinforce the Baltic states,” his report, titled 'The Coming Storm', claims.

The Russians have struggled to get and keep 19% of Ukraine.

They ain't getting Denmark...or anything else at this point.

They are laughable.

You are punching way above your weight.

There's no deescalation at this point... Russia is at war with Nato, it's just not officially declared mostly via proxy but that's changing rapidly.

Politians are to stupid for peace, and bankers too greedy for war profits. As long as it's not them in the front lines throwing their lives away.

Putin is just as mad for power and wealth.


That's the beauty of it...from the divine point-of-view (not human).
