Life-long reoccurring dream suddenly resolved...OMEN?
My mother and I are hired to be caretakers for a glorious mansion in Rich-People town.

The owners go abroad and never return or communicate, but the house remains paid for and in our care and for YEARS we've been settled in.

We are always living in fear that the owners will suddenly return and will not like the effects of our settling and what's become of the place. Too messy, no time to clean, wear-and-tear, etc.

I've had this dream at least 20 times over the years and it's always very vivid.

Sometimes it's my Wife and kids instead of my Mom, sometimes just me, or sometimes, if I'm very lucky, me and some beautiful person I do not know IRL. It hasn't been Sarah Michelle Gellar, yet, but she turns up in my dreams fairly often for some reason. Never an unwelcomed thing.

The house is not always quite the same, details are fluid in that regard.

---

Last night this dream finally had a conclusion. Usually, it just morphs into something else or I wake up before the end.
The family came home suddenly, I was going to leave the house, opened the double doors, and there thy were unloading a massive truck of all the stuff they've accumulated while on their endless vacation.

The wife comes in and starts Judging what's happened to the home, which is a mess because the money stopped coming in and we had jobs and no time, etc. At first I was very apologetic and ashamed but as the criticism piled up I finally got angry and said (PP) "Hey, you know what? You've been gone forever and stopped paying us and never called."

GFYS is the attitude I took, and the Husband came in and was kind of sympathetic and less irritated by the house.

The woman backed down, and that was that.

Finally settled.

Maybe you have finally accepted that you can't get "everything" done, it's impossible, and you have come to a point in your life in which you don't care who knows it.

Interesting post. I have a recurring dream that I would like to see resolved.

Has anything happened in your real life that could have caused you to subconsciously change how you view the people in the dream, the situation or yourself?

I often have a very similar dream. It reminds me of the Parable of the Faithful Servant.

I used to have a recurring dream of a fox trying to get over a wooden fence to attack me.

One night I had the dream, except I started furiously punching it in the face until it went away.

Haven't had the dream again.

Your dream is highly prophetic and personal to you. this is Almighty God, Jesus, speaking to you. The Geller character likely represents Jesus because the name Geller means town crier, one who gives announcements and warnings. You're being warned. I generally take time to interpret dreams because they are important and so is every little detail in them but I'm tired right now and am just glossing over it and could be wrong about some things, but, I think the mansion is the true house of God, those who belong to God and what are you doing with the things of God. Your dream is not unlike the parable of the talents, Matthew 25:14 of a man who went on a long journey and left his servants in charge of his belongings. I'm not trying to scare you but it sounds like God is evicting you. You're correct that judgment is about to commence and you are not ready. There is a remedy for this however and its very easy. you need to call upon the Lord, simply tell him you repent of having disappointed Him and that he can have all of you, every little bit. We're not worth much like we are anyways, so join the winning team. You will shortly see biblical events unfolding. You likely won't make the first group/bride of Christ, but you can be in the second group, which is the largest group. Be sure you ask God to send you the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus so you can hear the Lord speak clearly to you, this is what the bible calls being "born again". Its imperative that you become very serious about your relationship with Jesus, but I assure you He will be delighted that you've turned back to him, which is really what your dream has been about all along. Good luck and God bless you!

In a nutshell, this is how I see the dream.

However, I find that there are circumstances in the dream that make "God" complicit in the undesired outcome.

Remember, in the dream there is NO COMMUNICATION or way to reach the family whose house I/we are occupying. That is not my choice or fault.

Recall that too much time goes by for reasonable expectation of family returning, which means we have little choice but to presume they are dead, imprisoned or so happy elsewhere and so wealthy they simply abandoned their residence.

And always in the dream is the idea that the house starts to get into disrepair, disheveled because the money stopped coming and we've had to upkeep the house ourselves with our own meager wages and with what little time/skill we have to do it with.

-------

So when "God" shows up to judge, it's like "Hey, man, we did the best we could here but you were nowhere to be found!"

It's not like in the dream there was a phone line they promised they could always be reached, or some other symbol of the Bible or Prayer or anything.

Yeah, but it's symbolic and remember its been a recurring dream for you, meaning he has been calling you and he's saying you're not answering. the reasonable expectation is the same problem most people have with God, that it's been way too long, and where is he?? Most will say, he's not around here and if he is, he doesn't care. The upkeep is still expected to be done even in extreme poverty in real life, meaning even poor as a church mouse you're still expected to study scripture, pray and repent, watch the signs of his return; help others, etc. Dreams are weird and hard to understand. I've had some dreams I still haven't fully figured out what they mean, but bottom line, its not too late for you. I believe terrible calamities are about to break out as part of the judgment, so please just jump quickly today and ask for mercy, grace and forgiveness. Everyone needs to do that, but most don't.

That's a really cool especially with the man (like the Father?) being the sympathetic energy.

I feel there is something deeper with how the woman acted vs how the man acted.
