Guys i have a feeling he is going to be guilty.

Its not because he actually is, but because the USA's whole system is corrupt these days.

Prepare yourselves mentally, this will be a real eye opening, a red pill moment, for a lot of people.

The elites have an agenda and will strive hard to accomplish it.

So the two reported hold outs are scared of repercussions for not wanting to vote guilty?

Not buying it.

That is what I believe, I hope i am wrong and you are right.

Probably more self-centered than that.

Someone is worried about getting doxed. They could care less about putting someone innocent away.

For anyone to know what’s going on in the jury room it’s coming from them or the bailiff

I’m gonna call this BS right now unless they called the bailiff in to discuss their fears

But then he leaked it and would be removed from his post
 Quoting: ~kpm~

That’s no excuse. Backlash?
Doesn’t that disqualify that juror, fear of backlash over performing his or her DUTY??!!!

Alternative jurors are there for a reason, no?

Didn’t Kyle draw ping pong balls or raffle numbers to select the alternates?

? ? ? ? ?

Unless this is all BS.

Well that information is going to screw everything up the judge will have no choice but to declare a mistrial and the young man, will have to go through it again. Man this is totally effed up. Juror intimidation almost always gets called to a mistrial. It was probably that damn assistant DA I guarantee I bet he was behind it.

mistrial with prejudice ends this.

Re: Kyle Rittenhouse Trial - Verdict Watch - Day 1
so can the judge void a mistrial by him making a decision?
 Quoting: Fastrac5

I don't think he can apply a 'Direct Verdict' to a mistrial.
 Quoting: BBQ BOY™

Mistrial simply means the trial didn't happen... Mistrial dismissed with prejudice is over and done with and can't be brought back to court. Mistrial dismissed without prejudice means the he can be retried.
 Quoting: BeenAround®

There was a motion by the defense earlier on for a Mistrial with Prejudice because of the prosecutions badgering Rittenhouse over his 5th amendment rights.

The judge has not ruled on it yet.
 Quoting: Aravoth

Hopefully the judge is keeping that card on standby in case the jurors turned out to be a gang of lawless Marxists.

Correct, but a 'Direct Verdict' can only be issued before the case goes to the Jury, that's my understanding anyway.
 Quoting: BBQ BOY™

I've heard of directed verdicts happening after a jury has rendered its verdict when the judge disagrees strongly enough that he will just set aside the jury's decision, but I've never heard of a directed verdict when the jury comes back hung.
