They ridicule and condemn Kyle for 'defending property'. That's bullshit.

It was far more than just sticks and bricks like the prosecution would have people believe. There were livelihoods threatened, childrens psyches, the emotional well beings of everyone in that town, not to mention wages lost, homes repossessed, layoffs, illnesses...the list goes on.

The prosecution should be ashamed and disbarred.

I think U.S. Citizens watching this trial should ask themselves, and ponder a few key points:

#1 Why was Rittenhouse in Kenosha that night? The answer is obvious is it not? The professional Police & Fire were sitting on the outer-perimeter of the disturbance {riot} and the media was broadcasting a city of vandalism and lawlessness including arson.

#2 Why were Police & Fire sitting on the bench? Because their boss, the Mayor and local elected officials ordered them to stand down. If Police had been free to do their job from the start, with full authority to arrest and knock some heads, and even bring in the National Guard if necessary, this would not have turned into such anarchy.

#3 The black population has a duty to stop this non-sense of blaming cops for using deadly force on black men when those men (often boys) were killed in clearly justified shootings. It is not racist to point out that resistance to arrest we see time-and-time again by black men; who end up getting killed by the cops. Don't tell me these thugs deserve to be treated like saints. Remember, it was a cop shooting a black man resisting arrest that started Kenosha riots.

#4 There once was a time (not so long ago) when young men of Kyle's age were taught Pride, Duty, Country. As a citizen of the United States of America, I believe our Founding Fathers would honor the courage, dedication, service, and sacrifice Rittenhouse demonstrated, at a time when the politicians were failing miserably to provide adequate leadership. In fact, I think a case can be made that the liberal politicians of this part of Wisconsin were actually actively participating in fanning the flames of racism and general societal demise.

#5 Some people are naturally made to be protectors of the sheep. We call these people sheep dogs. It is a natural instinct to run into danger not away for this type. For those that have this trait, it feels natural. To much of society this may seem crazy, foolish, or heroic. These are our firemen, cops, soldiers, and foul weather utility workers. They often thrive on a higher level of adrenaline than the average person. Kyle went to Kenosha because he was doing his patriotic duty.

#6 The police (sitting on the bench) are seen in a video giving bottles of water Kyle and his friends from an armored vehicle and thanking them for being out there. The police had ample opportunity to detain and question Kyle before the shooting happened, but they did not. Instead, as professional law enforcement officers with experience, they sized-up the situation and did not profile Kyle and friends as threats, but rather as patriotic citizens.

#7 I find it odd that gunshots were fired just before Kyle's first shots, and then gunfire follows that. After Kyle trips and falls and shoots bad guys #2 and #3, 8 more gunshots by unknown(s). Why? Who is the guy the prosecutor will not bring on as a witness and why?

#8 Anyone should know chasing a person with a gun is stupid. Trying to take away someone's gun is even stupider. Both punks that Kyle shot and killed had grabbed his rifle. This is a life and death situation, and Deadly Self-Defense is justified. In the blink of an eye, the aggressor can take away a gun and use it. It happens far too often. That's why gun protection/possession is taught in most firearms self-defense courses. The rifle strap is NOT a 100% sure thing, it could fail. The dude who got his bicep blown off was holding a handgun. And that was an EXCELLENT shot by Kyle!

#9 Think about how little time Kyle had to make multiple life & death decisions?

#10 A whole bunch of them fuckers out that night in Kenosha should be grateful the entire "militia" armed with AR-15s did not suddenly just open fire (like the Ohio National Guard at Kent State University 1972) leaving dead and dying everywhere. That could have happened. Maybe next time it will.

When rioters and terrorists come marching through burning our homes, we are to refer to them as peaceful protesters and give them whatever they demand, including our lives.

We are to submit to beatings with skateboards, and are expected to render aid to the enemy when it is needed.

And finally, we are to be tried, convicted and sentenced for existing when they want us dead.
