We don’t allow SMS to be used as a 2fa mechanism in my enterprise because it is so weak. If there are any other options for 2fa use those. Preferably a one time token from an authenticator app.
Quoting: Beanie Baby Authenticator 2fa is better yes. I read some places that sms messages can be intercepted by telco carriers (was revealed with ads). I'd not trust it.
