Poisons and medicines are categorized differently, defined differently, and require different handling procedures and precautions.

"Poisons" and "medicine" are not the same...neither colloquially or legally in Australian law.

Just one example that they are 'legally distinct' and regulated differently for those who may have bought the lie.

There are 5 schedules below schedule 6. There are three above. A few scheduled, highly controlled drugs (i.e. fentayl, diacetylmorphine, methamphetamine are above that.) Everything else that is prescribed for legitimate purpose? Below that. Page 16 on the link below.

Schedule 2, 3, 4, & 8 are are classified as "medicines". The COV vaccine must be classified as a schedule 5, 6 or 7 substance.

Schedule 5 (S5) substances are chemicals that are toxic if ingested of misused and classified as poisons.

Schedule 6 (S6) substances are chemicals that are very toxic if ingested of misused and classified as poisons that require greater caution when handling.

Schedule 7 (s7) are substances that are extremely toxic poisons that have high potential to cause harm at low exposure. They require special precautions for manufacture, handling and use. They should only be available to specialised or authorised users who have the skills necessary to handle them safely.
