There are several things you should acknowledge in your statement. First, you are admitting that people who are vaxxed can still catch covid and be harmed by it. Then that is an admission that the vax does not prevent covid. If all the vaxxed people are threatened by becoming ill from an unvaxxed person, then they are also threatened by becoming ill from a vaxxed person. And if you believe that we can eliminate Covid by vaxxing everyone, you have failed to acknowledge that Covid can exist in animals. Since it has an animal resevoir, we cannot hope to eliminate it by vaxxing the human population. Bottom line, the vax is horribly dangerous, sometimes deadly, sometimes horribly injurious. The vax does not prevent catching covid. The vax does not prevent spreading covid. The vax does not prevent severe covid disease and hospitalization. The vax is a total scam!

I'm unvaccinated but I take a ton of precautions.
I exclusively wear an N95 mask indoors.
I work from home and have limited social interaction.
I gather outdoors for events and parties.

The most common sense thing is to test for indoor family gatherings if you are worried about one person.

The fallacy in your logic, and this is common but I'm asking you to consider this based on the data is that for Pfizer and J&J the vaccine *does not prevent transmission* after about 5 months. Even after 3 months protection from breakthrough and transmission wanes.

Moderna is better but we don't know exactly how much.

So let's reiterate:
1. It really doesn't make sense to ban a person from an indoor gathering. Just ask that they test.
2.Outdoor gathering, even without a mask is *very* safe. at least 20 times safer then indoors.
3. Asymptomatic spread is much rarer then initially thought. Even Anthonty Fauci said it turns out to be "very very rare"
- note there may be a slight window of pre-symptomatic spread.
4. In most cases the Abbot home test are adequate. They are about 85% as accurate as a PCR. Unless the person has had a direct exposure this is probably enough. If you are very concerned, then you can request they take a PCR test.


SIMPLER STILL:
Home test or outdoor gathering lets everyone be together.

Remember that the unvaccinated person is at much greater risk of coming to your house then you are of getting infected from them.

No, 99% of people hospitalized were unvaccinated. Also those numbers are changing now that the ratio of vaccinated are going up and the vaccines are waning.

I know several people who have had breakthrough Covid and even one person who was tripple vaxxed with booster who still got breakthrough Covid.
