It's fucking surreal how callous they all are.

Does anyone ever think that they "don't " discuss the trial at home.. like come on.. I wouldn't personally as I would be scared shitless..and too paranoid.. but come on... and they still have access to the internet.. (unless I missed that) so as this is all over the news.. how can they not see or read things...

If they are adults they shouldn't even want to. I do not know how you avoid overhearing family, but that also is not talking yourself. Don't be around a TV, radio, etc. Don't discuss it in email and stay away from news and social media. Obviously people may have business etc via phone calls and emails, and others may try and talk to them about it, but they just don't and that is their instructions.

Yeah I think there is a variety of optics on display here. i.e " We're even willing to crucify a young man who is squeaky clean for daring to defend himself, so let this be a lesson to anyone else who dares " etc.

What’s crazy is how the gauge guy admitted he had his gun pointed at Kyle, but the prosecutor ignore it and said it was never pointed at him.

Why can’t the witness say, the man testified earlier and admitted it was pointed at him?

Why didn’t the defense object?

Or maybe they just wanted him to look like a liar? There were so many objection opportunities missed IMO

I have been watching this off and on throughout the day. I have to say that this young man is light on his feet in answering questions.
It's foolish to think he will get away Scott free. I think he'll end up on some kind of probation.

I think Bingbongbinger put his toes to the line many times, but if defense objects the 10 times we think they should have and each is denied, that's not good.
