Dang it I'm just catching up after getting off work! I'm only at the beginning of granbo and I can't wait to see what goes on for the rest of the trial!!

These prosecutors are stupid. Why piss off the jury needlessly so close to the end of the trial.

I've been amazed by all of the terrible missteps on both sides. This is the most amateur case I've seen in 20+ years. I could not believe that the defense would state in open court their situation with Gay Grossarm's roommate yesterday. That should have been a sidebar or discussed in chambers. Anyone could now just inform him of the situation and the planned line of questioning/impeachment and he can adjust. No one would ever even dream of doing this.

THey just said something about using zoom, and the supreme court, re a witness

I wonder what thats about?

Last year when the courts were opening back up, most states' high courts ruled that witnesses can appear by Zoom if both sides stipulate in agreement.

The "right to confront" the witness also needs to be waived, if the right in that particular circumstance exists.

It was just a small procedural issue that needed to be taken care of on the record.

Could be a security measure, some of the jury have been threatened.
Or a distance thing , where the witness is overseas.

I've seen bad prosecutors before but these two morAns take the ultimate prize...talk about Dumb and Dumber!

Those were my thoughts before the trial even started. Almost my exact words.

I'm really proud of this guy. Prosecution though they could bully this guy and he stood his ground like a boss!

This trial is the most entertaining thing I've seen all year. The witnesses are great. Hope those two obnoxious prosecutors get their a**es handed to them.
