I do not think this is a complete hoax. Numbers don't lie... but the people reporting them do... GREATLY.

You screwed yourselves falling for a vaccine that was brought to market in less that 9 months. Coronaviruses have been around before Noah was out deep-sea fishing in his boat. We've been looking for a solution all these years and suddenly "WE HAVE IT!" That's a bunch of bullshit. But you fell for it and I now am of the belief your immune systems are beyond repair. My personal opinion is that if it is really R0 28, unless full lockdown forever which is not possible, everyone will be infected eventually through series of waves and its descendant. It is a matter of time, just refer to Delta and you will get what I mean. :-)

Contact tracking and quarantine will be ineffective in such R0 of 28 as it can still spread through toilet flush air even after the infected person had left for some times, there is no way to social distancing or trace in such a scenario.

Real R0 should be lower but higher than Delta series as we are talking about Africa where personal hygiene is not a priority?

Only worry now is hopefully it is not Airborne HIV.

For GLP, individual household lock down but outdoor (if really need to go out) with PAPR (need spray disinfection before coming into the house) should work. All purchase should just go for no contact home delivery.

Everything from outside will still need sealed quarantine (wear P100 mask and eye protection when handling them) for at least 2 weeks (preferably 1 month to be 100% safe) before using it.
