Amazon not delivering all of a sudden? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 81038616 Mexico 10/24/2021 10:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Bingo. All 3 of my current Amazon orders stalled like a hydro locked semi. ZERO movement. And I am talking, in two cases no movement for 10 days. The one scheduled to arrive today landed in Texas four days ago and stayed there too. Are Amazon workers covid vax striking, or are they setting their delivery schedules to match social credit scores? |

Quoting: Poster Nutbag I have friends and family that work in the local postal delivery area and they say their Amazon volume is up over 60% this weekend. They said they haven't seen an Amazon delivery van since last Thursday. And they've suddenly gotten hit with a bunch of new delivery volume. Some think it may be a larger play by Amazon for whatever benefit, some think maybe the local contractor went under, still others think it's just holiday volume come early because of all the ships piled up at ports. Not sure what's going on but when things like this shift without warning, it's usually not a good sign. Anyway, I just started the thread to see what the CIA's darling deal baby was doing in your area this weekend? Good. turdzilla |

Supposed to get here tomorrow but doubt it will make it that quickly. Quoting: Cascadians Strange. Something is screwed up. How far south into California is the weather impacting? If the winds are pushing trucks off of bridges, it's likely impacting cargo flights taking off as well. Thread: California Atmospheric River Discussion (Page 8) |

They are begging for delivery drivers here. I got a postcard in the mail from them offering $18 an hour to start for delivery drivers. If it weren't for the vaxx demands I might would take them up on it. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79112896 United States 10/25/2021 12:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well, I can confirm this, and it's apparently not weather-related. Middle of the country, not on the west coast, and typically I'd see next day, if not next morning, available for delivery options for certain items. Now it's saying Tuesday. Out of curiosity, I checked other items which I know used to be available in several hours, confirmed by looking at invoice / delivery date. Every single one of these is now showing Tuesday. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76194039 United States 10/25/2021 12:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was talking to a post office employee a couple of weeks ago because I had problems with a big heavy shipment that got sent to the post office instead of ground. She said that 90% of end deliveries are going through them now. She also said that Amazon delivery vehicles were recalled off the road because of lawsuits, due to them breaking down all the time and causing accidents. She said that Amazon isn't delivering at all anymore. I have orders from Petsmart, Chewy and a bird store all just get severely delayed. They just stopped dead in the water in the past week. Things are really breaking down. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80884406 Seriously, do you people know that Amazon is a fully integrated Goverment company running also Fema? You are literally buying from Darpa. Amazon's been fairly reliable for me so far. That's a fairly good indication that they're not run by the US government, at least. |

Some NON-Amazon (Vendors selling ON Amazon) deliveries do, especially stuff from China, but they TELL you that it's coming in 2-3 weeks, AND give USPS tracking numbers. I've had orders on Amazon come via USPS, FedEx, UPS, but more than 90% are BY Amazon branded vehicles, AND trackable via their website. NO Amazon delivery vehicles have been recalled, AAS can be seen ANYWHERE, with the thousands of them constantly on the road. . |

Never in my life has an Amazon vehicle dropped off my package. Just ordered another small item that was prime 2 day shipped and was in the mail box on time. Usually fed ex truck sometimes ups but never Amazon trucks. You're high as Bezos the astronaut if you think those little trucks do all the delivering in this country. |
