try logging into one of the controllers and see if you can

at home I couldn't get a "unknown" device to pop up. I goofed
with my laptop, 2nd phone, two headsets. I turned them
on, off, turned BT on and off, connected, unpaired them.

I thought maybe I could jog them into a dysfunctional state.

but when I stepped into my front yard, I suddenly have
FIVE "unknown" devices show up, I assume it's my neighbors.

I got into work at 8am and tried it from the same location multiple times, front desk area 30 feet away from conference room.

Absolutely nothing came up on the scanner until people started walking in the conference room towards 10PM.

Scanned again after meeting, 0 devices.

12 people bringing 25 unknown XBox video game controllers into the conference room and playing Super Smash Bros. or...? I guess they needed an extra controller for a backup.

This is a corporate office of a major food distributor btw, literally nothing is in that conference room besides a huge table, a Keurig and a bunch of chairs.

Ive been tinkering with it for several weeks now.


They most certainly are producing BLE signals.

It was the same on mine too...

I searched each and every MAC address from all of thr signals i gathered, and its these BORGS that only have the mac addresses that are marked, "registered" (under fcc guidelines)...
But have no specific code showing to link them to any specific enitity.

While, every other bluetooth device ive came across PERIOD, their MAC adressess track back to whatever given manufacturer...

The app ive been using to not only scan... but to constantly log in the background... which works amazing..

Its called "BLE Scanner" on the play store... blue, bluetooth icon..

"Xbox" icon must just be the app form to indicate unknown manufacturer.

The unknown MACs may be being created Ad hoc, randomly, from some popular crap app in people's cell phones. Perhaps Yoho like apps.

I work at a bar. Can't wait to leave the app running all day and mess with my regulars who don't believe any of this stuff and are fully vaccinated. Should be interesting. two, there's essentially a 100ft dead zone
around it.

so I got 32 devices for 25 people which is much
more "normal" and Im pondering it... what's
the difference? and then I realized it's an
ethnic sports bar. Maybe 50% white. the
previous two bars are "white upper class" bars.

so my "normal" reading may reflect a low vax rate
here.

Its not what you think it is.

Every phone that has bluetooth enabled has a app specific bluetooth address. For example if you have 2 apps on your phone that use bluetooth then two addresses will be broadcasting and receiving. If you have 10 apps, then you'll have ten addresses.


You can test it out yourself. Use the same analyzer. Get another phone. Go into a place with no other devices even in the distance. Get a blank first reading. Then bring in the other phone with bluetooth disabled. Then try again with that phone with bluetooth enabled. Then go into the bluetooth access list and slowly one by one disable each apps access to bluetooth. What you will see is the addresses will disappear.

If this pans out, it would be a negative hit on the idea that saline placebos make up a certain percentage...

Scary thought.

why would they generate random unregistered
addresses?

i actually did what you suggest and saw no difference but i have few apps installed.

so you're saying apps are binding to the
physical device but randomly assigning
their own virtual ID? that sounds pretty
flaky but at least it's testable.

it's possible. ive seen stuff like this before,
after 30+ years of IT. i worked on one app
that encoded every x-y coordinate for a grid
into a single digit which assumes certain
constraints and decodes it back out. very
fucking weird but... ive seen it.

While I don't understand the tech, the addresses, what they're assigned to, etc, this makes sense except for the video from Japan. One lady didn't even have a phone.

This needs to be tested around vaxxed people with no phones in the immediate area.
