political faction is not political ideology.. republicans are the true liberals in this country, holding sacred the rights and rules that keep you free and LIBERATED; and the democrat/left leaning are filling the shoes of an authoritarian
some people are progressive (want things to change) and some people are conservative (want things to stay the same)
